What are the properties of KAYAKOCVIB® surface treatment chips ?

CERAMIC CHIPS

Ceramic abrasive chips are used in vibratory machines and drums for deburring-grinding and to remove surface roughness of sharp corners in iron and some non-ferrous metals. Our ceramic stone formulation can be prepared in various compositions depending on the desired surface quality. Our chips generally contain low-medium-high abrasives for various applications. They are suitable for hard metals. Iron-steel, stainless steel, etc.

CHIPS SELECTION

We select the chips that are suitable for your parts. Ideally, chips should touch the entire surface area of your parts, should be easily separated from the parts in the sieving process and should not get into gaps of the parts. Chips have an optimum abrasion-grinding rate and long life. All stone types are tested in our R&D test center and then shipped. Please contact us for more information about our ceramic chips.

PLASTIC CHIPS

Plastic chips are used for the abrasion of sharp corners in non-metal products (copper, zinc (zamak)-nickel alloys, bronze, aluminum, zinc, composite materials). Our plastic chips are classified and coded as low-medium-high. They have a maximum abrasion-grinding rate. They provide an economic advantage thanks to their long-lasting structure. Our plastic chips can be prepared in various compositions depending on the desired surface quality. Our plastic chips make the surface ready for polishing with the abrasion process and shorten the polishing process. All the raw materials we use comply with the European standards. We have fully automatic standard production. Please contact us for various geometric chip sizes that are out of the list. Our chips do not leave deposits on metal surfaces. We can produce custom products according to your needs. Vibration exit water may contain 1-1.5% solid particles. It is ideal for systems with a treatment unit.

UREIC CHIPS

These are the chips used for surface abrasion and deburring especially in soft metals such as zinc and aluminum. They are suitable for pre-coating surface preparation. Our ureic chips can be prepared in various compositions depending on the desired surface quality. They can be produced with different types of abrasives. They have a softer structure compared to plastic chips. They have a maximum abrasion-grinding rate. They can be preferred as an economic alternative. We have fully automatic standard production. Custom production can be made according to your needs. Vibration exit water may contain 2.5-3% solid particles. In systems with treatment units, filter maintenance may be more frequent than plastic chips.
